Fweet Baby

Never have I had a dog like Fweet Baby. A true runt of the bunch but the pick of the litter, Fweet Baby was IT! You could see it in her mischievous play. She took the lead of the pack, getting all her siblings in trouble. A I lay down at night, she tooker position across my abdomen for a few loving strokes and then she would curl under my left arm, sleeping soundly until morning. She was too young to pass, just barely two years. We believe she was poisoned, not by someone, but by farm chemicals used here in the Delta. None of the other pups suffered, but Fweet Baby did like to roam and roam she did just after the chemical delivery trucks passed our house, she disappeared. Coming back later in the day, she looked a little tired from her exploits. The next morning she began to show signs of problems. After a quick trip to the vet, the diagnosis was unsure. Later that evening she passed. It broke my heart as I loved her dearly. I am just blessed to have had her.

I believe she will meet me at the Pearly Gates when my time comes...along with all my babies.
