Views of Delta Life

Wintertime presents some of the most beautiful sites in the Mississippi Delta. The trees laid bare of leaves, the fading sun drifts below the clouds to present a pinkish red tint.

As promised by knowledged newsmen, right at 5:52 pm, the International Space Station, could be seen transversing the heavens with the naked eye. That is the dot near the center of the photo. What do you expect out of a digital, at night, and a spacestation moving way past mach!!!

Babies are such a blessing...as is this one born in the morning hours of December 28th. Her mother, Roserita, was rescued from the middle of Hwy 49, at one of the busiest times of the day, in November, 2005. Had her mother not been rescued and adopted into this family, these precious babes (4) would not be here today. However, since we believe in Bob Barker's "theme" of Have Your Pet Spayed or Neutered," these will be too!

Greenery, just living the life of luxurious greenery.
